Mistfall Hunter Player Count, Squad Size and Match Size
A sourced distinction between solo play, two-to-three-player co-op squads and the Xbox listing for online match capacity.
The short answer
Mistfall Hunter supports solo play and squads of up to three. The Xbox store separately lists online co-op for 2–3 players and online multiplayer for 2–15 players. Squad size and total match capacity are different numbers.
Squad size
Official descriptions allow a player to enter alone or form a three-player squad. Developer notes also say duplicate classes can be used in one squad, which is why the squad planner does not impose a unique-class restriction.
- Solo play is supported
- Online co-op is listed for 2–3 players
- A full squad contains up to three Gyldhunters
- Duplicate classes are allowed by official developer notes
Online match capacity
The Xbox capabilities panel lists online multiplayer for 2–15 players. That storefront field does not prove that every map, queue or launch mode always starts with 15 players, so this wiki records it as a platform-listed maximum rather than a universal lobby rule.
What remains unknown
The final queue matrix, solo-versus-squad separation, region rules, bot behavior and per-map player counts still need launch-build or first-party confirmation.
