Minimum PC requirements

Steam lists Windows 10 64-bit, DirectX 12 and a broadband internet connection as the baseline. The minimum CPU is an Intel Core i7-4770 or AMD Ryzen 5 1400, paired with 12 GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580.

Steam currently lists 45 GB of available storage and strongly recommends installing on an SSD. The listed capacity is required free space, not a promised final download size.

Recommended PC requirements

For the recommended tier, Steam lists an Intel Core i7-9700 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT. Windows 10 64-bit, DirectX 12, broadband internet and the SSD recommendation remain the same.

A recommended specification is not a promise of a particular resolution, graphics preset or frame rate. The storefront does not attach a performance target, so any 60 FPS or 4K claim would need release-build benchmarking rather than inference from the hardware list.

Bellring Anti-Cheat disclosure

The Steam store says Mistfall Hunter uses kernel-level anti-cheat software named Bellring Anti-Cheat. That disclosure is important for players who assess software permissions, compatibility or support before installing.

The public storefront does not currently document driver lifecycle, uninstall behavior, Linux compatibility or Steam Deck support. Steam Deck compatibility is shown as unknown. Those details should be checked again when the release client and support documentation are available.

Controller and platform notes

Steam lists full controller support, and the official launch FAQ specifically names Xbox and PlayStation controllers. The PC specification applies to the Steam build; it should not be used to infer console rendering modes or performance targets for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

DevNote #7 reports work on device presets, console and lower-end PC tuning, 2K and 4K output, camp frame rate, inventory and map interfaces, shader precompilation and combat microstutter. Only testing the final build on named hardware can establish stable settings recommendations.
